Keanu Reeves (The Matrix, Speed) makes his directorial debut with Man of Tai Chi,
written by Michael G. Cooney. Little is known about the plot, but stuntman Tiger Hu Chen
takes the lead as a young martial artist in Beijing whose skill places him in position to take
advantage of lucrative opportunities but also make great sacrifices. Reeves also plays the
film's villain alongside a cast that also features Karen Mok (So Close), Simon Yam (Ip
Man) and Iko Uwais (The Raid), all with fight choreography from Yuen Woo Ping (The
Matrix, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon).
